Last night after a grueling day at work, I managed to put my new toy to the test with random shots at, and of, Jujiin Samonte's "Exhibit Number One" in Trilogy, Rada St. (X2 had a grab at it, too, of course.)

Crispy Creams and Kendi Sprinkles

You usually want to be in sync with your partner. If X2 is in the mood for colors, I'll join him.

For starters, there is indulgence in imaginings of Risto Bimbiloski's upcoming designs for Spring 2010, where most will focus on prints of "beautiful, dangerous, and random phenomena" (a.k.a. volcanoes, storms, etc.).

It seems to me that them kaleidoscopic photos and digi-print thingies (of the jungle, metal, cement, galaxies and what-have-yah) on fabric will get even bigger next season.

And because Bimbiloski becomes more threateningly fierce as we speak, we may want to get acquainted (if you haven't) with his F/W 2009 collection. I'm digging his stuff, really.

No pressure, but in the future, I hope he lives up to expectations, because I'm really rooting for him. (True, even if I'm not a fan of Vuitton whom he does knitwear for.)

I want that jacket up here on the right side - eagle eyes, eagle eyes, eagle eyes - and in the below pic is an amazingly gorgeous dress. How so stunning.

Talk about stunning! Look at Leigh Lezark's thingy for Brit mag Tatler.

(I like her blond. I like her raven-haired.)

Leigh Lezark is my fave hipster ever. Did I mention that she's unstoppable in some cartoon-printed Versace number?

About cartoons, I got hit by the "Up" bug as well. It's a brilliant flick that's even more brilliant in 3D. And because its impression on me is not wearing off overnight, I would like to take this opportunity to post a couple of my most favorite CD covers from almost 3 years ago:

"Evolution Overload" by Crist Espiritu

Speaking of "art" exhibits, by hook or by crook, I'm going to this Crist Espiritu's display of works later. Nope, I don't really know this guy and I've never really seen his work except for those on his website: http://www.cristespiritu.com

Crist has got pretty weird stuff going on, actually. He also goes to parties with burger and drinks. Hmm... I guess I'm just sticking to my word that I'd go to his thingy, minus the commitment to come in neon clothing.

You think it's worth my time? LOL.

My Chanel Gun Heels (Well, Almost Mine) and SomeGiant's Painting

So a BFF is in Singapore since Friday, he went to the Chanel store there to save my tortured soul (or sole?) by asking about MY shoes. The good news is, they're gonna have it in their store and they will call me and email me the details the very day it arrives. Hurraaay!!!!! It's pure bliss to hear about that from him. I'm so happy. (Thank you!. You know who you are).





Somehow, things remind me of fellow blogger SomeGiant's post from last month. It's about a painting he did for an exhibit which was inspired by this pic in the below.

And if you're as shallow as me, you're eyes immediately zero in on the jacket. It's Junya Watanabe, baby, and it's gorrrgeouz. (I refuse to mention that the primary subject of his work is his nephew who seems a bit kinda cute, though we can really barely see much of his face, which makes me wonder if good jackets can score anyone plus 10 pogi points, eh?) Too bad, though, that it's too impractical (or is it?) to wear leather jackets around here. I'd have loved to do a Carine Roitfeld number with one he he he.
