Yesterday's News Today (HK Spring/Summer Sale!)

What's your shoe desire at the moment?

Imelda Marcos has a gazillion of shoes. I ain't diggin' her Blahniks that much. On a kind of different note, it's already sale season in Hong Kong and I have to decide on which shoes to conSOLE myself with. Went on an online-window shopping spree for Spring/Summer shoes and these should help narrow down the options.

SPRINGWEAR 2009: TOP MOBS

What an awesome time to start blogging. Yes, just when the geniuses are out with their Spring RTW for 2009.


BALMAIN





Ooh, glorious, glorious, gorgeous collection to die for from Balmain. I'm loving the acid washed pants, them shoes (and I was never crazy for studs until these were born), jackets (mod and retro all at the same time) and the LBDs on these (gawd!).


RICK OWENS






And much like the opposite of Balmain's flamboyant rocking and rolling, Rick Owens is belching out a tune straight out of Daria's vocal choreography. I'm simply amazed at how nicely understated and intelligent (as usual) the mood of this collection is -- my most favorite.
